S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

A good oil weight for turbo applications.

Is that not a little thick for a turbo application?

I've heard the same thing from Tony Palo about that...if I'm not mistaken he swears by it.

Pricey though..lol.

Valvoline Synpower 10w30. If you are still using factory engine then you shouldn't go too far off factory weight due to clearance. Little thicker will be fine.

I use mobil as well....gonna rock the BP 10w30 "green oil" I dont see the need for 20w50....but their 10w30 is reasonably priced and if Tony P swears by it, then I trust its good shiiiiiz.

Same here...

I use to run the Amsoil uro 5-40 but at $9 a quart I couldn't justify it anymore. You can get the 5-40 Mobil in a large 4 quart jug at Wallmart for $22. Buy 2 the first time and then 1 the second.

On stock motors, you shouldn't deviate too far from the factory recommended grade.

Most Synthetics are already OK to use in turbo applications so using a turbo, shouldn't really dictate what type of oil to use. It should be part of the consideration however.

Oil grade selection is based on your engine needs. That means, pumping capacity and clearances (main and rod bearing). You want to maintain adequate/recommended pressure and flow - as long as you can mantain factory oil pressure, that's what's important. Now if you use your car as a track car... then there's a whole different set of criteria

Quick Reply: A good oil weight for turbo applications.
