Isn't there a section in the forums for stuff like this, maybe group buys or For Sale? I really don't see what you pimping a roll bar has to do with the FI section.

Vendors can post threads where ever they want to. I don't see anything wrong really with posting ONE thread or something once in a while as long as it isn't like you're listing a whole bunch of items you sell and taking up the whole page of all advertising in a certain section that many users visit

I'm down with sponsors posting products, but he posted it in three other sections. Really no need to flood the forums, especially if it has nothing to do with FI. I don't know, maybe I'm just cranky today

Nothing wrong with any sponsor posting in any forum. They pay to advertise, and get to use it where they see fit.
Makes sense to me to post in a forum where people mod the car for more power.
BTW my deposit is made.

I spend a lot of time in this forum, and I thought people would appreciate it. The faster you go the safer the car should be - on or off track. Besides, for the 1/4 mile guys, I am quite sure there are more stringent regulations for roll-over protection the faster you go. I need to look at the NHRA rules to see if all bar variants meet the guidelines. I know there are a handful of 10 sec. race cars here and probably a decent amount of 11 sec. daily drivers

I apologize, I just saw the pics are down. I'll get on top of it.
Convertibles running from 11.00-13.49 secs, must have a roll bar.
Under 10.99 secs or faster than 135 mph requires a cage.
I just checked with the NHRA specifications for convertible roll-bar requirements. They are going to tell me if the bar meets their requirements. If not, I will see what it would take to make an NHRA bar available for all my fellow boost addicts in this forum

This is good news. Try to get those pics fixed... i'm wondering how much of the interior needs to be gutted to fit them (if any).
