Getting some boost spiking now in high RPM's
Just installed my AEM wideband and Tru Boost last night along with my Berk HFC. I have one question about the wideband though and specifically its readings. At partial throttle it jumps around almost one whole point to slightly more, but when I go WOT it only jumps around maybe .2 of a point. I have the sensor mounted in the piping before the catalyst in the HFC. Does this operation of the gauge seem normal?
Also I know my computer may be trying to "learn" again due to the higher flow of the HFC. Also the sensor is mounted per AEM angle requirements.
Thanks guys

in a nutshell, It jumps around more @ partial throttle because your ECU is continually trying to make adjustments to determine fuel requirements. @ WOT it is no longer using the 02 sensors to determine fuel requirements (it uses predetermined maps from the factory).

Cool thanks guys.
Yeah I bet it is trying to adjust more since I just put the HFC in and just reset my ECU three days ago due to some problems I was having.
I havent had much of a chance to drive the car since I finished the install at two this morning and had to wake up for work at six. Traffic prevented me from doing WOT runs but I got a few in before I put the car away. (Neighbors im sure loved that)
In sixth gear on the FWY at WOT my gauge pegs at ten out of VTEC. (Rich!) LOL
In first and second gear I think it was in the 10.3-11 range in VTEC (more so in the lower tens). I still got to do some more pulls and then I will report back.
This is with 70 Greddy single and Berk HFC with ZERO boost creep!

OK did some third gear pulls right now at lunch in third gear.
Out of VTEC WOT I was seeing an AFR of 10.8.
Once in VTEC it richened up to around 10.3.
It must have been running PIG rich with the stock exhaust and cat, if its still running this rich with 70 single and HFC.

Where's your boost at? 8psi? And when and where are you going to get it tuned?
Going to get it tuned at HB speed, but I want to wait a week or two for the car to learn the long term fuel maps.

A tune would yield some nice gains if your running that rich
