Kyle, with that battery...how often do you have to charge it? Is there a battery (similar in size) that doesn't need to be charged?

Bryan, I just leave the battery connected to a trickle charger when I'm not using it (just like the Elise; quick disconnects). I could probably leave it off of the charger for a week or two, but I'd prefer to maintain a full charge. Not sure if there is a gel battery that holds a charge for more than a few weeks at a time.

Does the heat from the manifold start to cause fuses to pop and fail?

Where is your fusebox in relation to the manifold runners? I wasn't able to keep the fusebox in the engine bay with my FBM sidewinder; I relocated the fusebox to the passenger compartment (same location as my current setup. Easy to locate/change fuses should I ever need to).
