When I ran a 6262, I used a 0.065" restrictor (with a -3AN line). IIRC, your oil pressure is higher than most?

When is it smoking? Under accel or sitting idle?

yeah mine is journal. LJ said I wouldn't need a restrictor. but apparently that's not the case because of my high oil psi.

It smokes at idle.

thanks guys. I'll move my return and use a 0.065 restrictor. Luckily I have plenty of extra weld bungs and an extra timing cover on my spare engine. so I'll gank it off that one and swap them.

I think that's the best route to take. I have my turbo and return in what looks like the exact same location (with two restrictors on my BB 6262) and I still get occasional smoking every now and then.

Take the time and use the timing chain cover. I know it sucks but once it's done it should solve any oil draining issues. Go heavy on the hondabond when you put it on!

heh, cool. This will be a fun project. Whats more fun is my oil cooler will be in the way of my oil return line going into the timing cover. So that means LOTS more fun for me yay. *stabs myself*

Oh well, it could have been worse. I seriously thought i popped the engine. Turns out non-vented hood and non-relay fans meant i would run hot in traffic. So as you can imagine smoke was unsettling. I was >< close to pulling the engine and swapping in my spare F22.

Anyone else have any experiance with the FullBlown fans?

I would put a gauge on the feed after your inline filter and see how much oil pressure is actually there before you go with a .65 restrictor. Last thing you wanna do is starve the turbo of oil.

U need a .065 restrictor and you should tab the return on the front of the pan or ideally on the timing cover
