Which fuel to run
I decided to run 100 octane on the f24 for safety reasons only, nothing else. Im only trying to achieve a 320hp range. The tuner suggested running e85 instead.
1.Cost
2.Cost
More then that, it was an issue of availability considering finding 100+ octane at race tracks is much easier then e85. I was also unaware of any physical changes to the car that needed to be made, considering i havent done much research on e85 before this.
My primary question is for safety, reliability, and above all cost, which fuel would you guys decide to run with? 100 octane is 5.99 a gallon in vegas, e85 is half of that. Ik the obvious response would be e85, but ik theres alot of guys on here running e85. Thanks in advance guys, still have time to swap out the gas for my tune.

lol c16...Does smell lovely lol.....
The reason i asked for saefty is because the pistons r h22 pistons/cast. They are notorious for breaking under too much boost, and from looking at my last setup detonation was the number 1 cause of my problems..
Ill be running 10psi, on a VERY conservative tune.
So just stick to 91?

Yes 91 or 93 will be just fine. If your tuner knows what he's doing you wont detonate. If you break something internally at 350 without detonation, you have bigger things to worry about other than fuel.

with 93 octane and your power goals, there is no reason that you would need race gas. you wouldn't need to run very much ignition advance to make your power goals esp. with a 2.4L.
320 hp equals out to 210 tq. Most guys can reach 210 tq using a greddy turbo kit on a F22C. I see no reason why you would need anything higher than 91 to get to your power goals granted you have a decent tuner that knows what he's doing. Good luck!

i have complete confidence in my tuner........I had ran 91 previously with my last tuner, but that ended in complete disaster. I was more worried about the pistons above anything else, considering my rev limit will only be 7-7500k..Thnks for the input guys!
