Default Fuel Pump Change Pre S/C Install

Is it ok to put in the new fuel pump before installing the S/C? Will it be alright to drive like this?

yeah you can. it won't cause any problems. did you get a walbro fuel pump? just be prepared, they are somewhat loud compared to stock. (noticeable whine).

the whine is LOUD!
More you drive, louder it gets.
Honestly I can not stand the whine when I am stuck in traffic.

Just get a good exhaust and you won't hear the fuel pump at all.

i had the walbro pump in my integra and i could hear that still big time. Now i'm going to be moving it to the s2k with less sound deadening (at least the teg had seats to help muffle it).

Are there any other pumps that don't whine as much for FI S2K applications?

If you think that's bad you guys should hear the aeromotive external fuel pumps. They actually make the car shake from the noise and vibration.
