Fuel Injector Development
ok so i need a bigger set of injectors and i was looking at FID 750 or 1000 cc injector.nhas anyone used them yet? If so what are your impressions? How do they compare to ID'S they are quite cheaper than ID's so i was thinkng about them. Also what onrings do i use for these or ID's and how do theplug and play connectors compare to the ID's thanks for any info.

I had a set of the FID 1200's. The injectors were nice and ran just fine on my ~350 WHP setup. I used the PnP clips that came with the injectors, but after about two weeks they started causing misfires. One of them was giving me issues, and I could swap the harness and watch the misfire go with it. Then another started acting up; they just didn't seal/hold well enough. I could apply force to the connector and the misfire would stop, then let go and it would come back. I would recommend against their PnP clips, but the injectors themselves were great. If mine had been wired in, I have no doubt they would have done just fine.
I now have ID1000's which are just as quality of an injector. I'm also running their PnP clips. I had an issue with one PnP clip that they sent me; one of the pins had come loose in the connector and wouldnt make a connection. I sent that pair back and have been running on this new set ever since. No issues thus far with them, knock on wood.
Bottom line is PnP connectors from ANY company and ANY vendor on ANY injector is a crap shoot. It may work, it may not. You can take the risk with them, just don't be surprised when you get a misfire, and you should automatically check the PnP connectors out first if you do develop a misfire.
Both FID and ID sends the top (fuel rail side) o-rings with the injectors. You reuse the OEM seals on the lower (intake mani) side.

I also have their 2000cc's. bottom line which others have mentioned... the clips from ANY company are questionable. the part that separates FID from the pack is customer service. give them a call and you will see what I am talking about.

Sorry to thread jack, but how are the 2000's idle wise?

I have them (2000s) in my car. Run great. The guys at FID really have their stuff together. If you need anything you can always send Andrew an email. He is virtually always available.
I'll make sure he pops his head in here.
