Spec Stage 3 clutch is awesome. It will hold at least 400 lbft of tq but they claim 492. $577 at MVPmotorsports.com

I run the ironman on my own car not the stage 3. The ironman is probably the most streetable puck-style around. The stage 3 will also be really good and it's not the same as the clutchmasters. The pressure plate is different along with the compound. They are both kevlar segmented though.

There have been many other guys who've purchased it and are running them currently all of them are very happy with their cars.

I'm suprised to hear so many high number cars running well on the HTG Special. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to bad mouth that setup in any way.
Last year I installed the HTG Clutch Kit, drove approximately 500 miles to break it in. I then installed a Comptech Blower & 7psi Pulley for 319whp, drove car 4k miles. Then turned things up a bit and reached 358whp. Keep in mind all these numbers are on a dynopack dyno. I drove the 358whp setup for an additional 1500 miles.
When we took the car apart my clutch had a good deal of wear and flat spots. It hadn't given up, but with the new setup we don't suspect it would last too long.
Since then I've swapped to a ACT 6 Puck Clutch and had the Comptech Flywheel Machined.

The clutch pedal feel is just like stock and the 6 puck disk isn't that much more difficult to engage than the stock; it is just barely more grabby than the stock.

does the HTG kit offer more clutch force or does the use of the OEM friction disk offer similar clamping force?. i want something with a little more force as i have to put a new clutch in before the S/C goes in soon. thanks
