[QUOTE=Sarek,Jun 26 2007, 04:08 PM] So having a lighter flywheel is not recommended for a turbo setup?
I currently have the Toda FW with the ACT clutch and PP. <--

instead of paying $400 for a flywheel, you can get a ball bearing turbo by adding that $400 to the non-BB turbo price.

To be honest, I am not happy with my flywheel. The engine speed drops 500rpm than with a stock flywheel when you shift, causing you to lose boost

To each his own but i am not a fan of lightened flywheels on high output motors, especially if engine longevity is on your list. Besides using inertia to keep the crank rotating smoothly the flywheel also dampens the harmonics created by firing pulses just like the crank pulley does on the front of the motor, the lighter it is the less efficiently it will dampen. Harmonics will mainly affect rod/main bearing and can also transfer to transmission input/output shafts creating more problems in the future. This is only my opinion based on experience.

Very true. My flywheel seems like it'd be cool if I was N/A but again, I wish I had just saved the money and stuck with my OEM. I've decided to keep my OEM and not sell it and whenever my current clutch goes out I will put my OEM back in and sell the Comptech.

The AP2 guys would probably benefit from the AP1 FW though.

Installed a AP2 flywheel and very glad.
Low speed driveability is back. At low speeds the car used to jerk like if I was stuck in traffic at very low speeds. I would either have to put it in neutral or work the clutch to avoid jerking.
