Flooded engine with gasoline-due to injectors
Hi , i have a stupid problem that i need help from S2ki oweners to solve.
Can you tell me how does the injector-or injectors flood my engine when i turn the car off?
I turn it off and the fuel pressure drops quickly in the fuel rail(i have a gauge on it) and the car starts bad after that due to flooded engine.
I suspected the injectors (RC 750) but it aint it..i took them to a service today and they were fine, flowed same, closed at 90psi pressure and worked fine(closed with no leakes) at 90 and 45psi.
so what i dont understand..if the AEM EMS gives some injector an open command, how can it since the IGN is turned to off?
Where should i look for the problem for my flooded engine?
if the Fuel regulator was faulty it would return the fuel to the Tank and in that case the car would start perfectly on IGN on...
thanks for all the Input you can do to help me solve this problem.
Havent had this problem, started few months ago and no change on the AEM maps during the Everything ok and Flooded enigne.

The PCM controls the injectors by switch a path to ground.
1. The injector is leaking without being grounded electrically
2. The PCM is always grounding the injector (doubtful if the car runs normally when it's running)
3. There is a short to ground in the engine harness to the injectors
To test for a leaking injector turn the key on with the fuel return line pinched closed. If the fuel pressure drops one of the injectors is leaking. Unplug all the wiring clips to the injectors, if it still leaks down, it's a injector problem. If the leakage stops it's a wiring or PCM issue.

If the problem is consistent, it's easy to diagnose. Unplug the injectors and see if it still happens.
I had a customer with RC 750's that had this exact problem. Turns out it was the injectors.
