FI Exhaust
OK, I've searched the forums, talked and listened to exhausts and I am no closer to a clear winner. I want dual and don't mind an exhaust that is louder than stock - I just don't don't want an exhaust that drones or is as a loud as a single. Looking for ideas / comments from folks that have gone through a similar process. These are the options I have right now:
*Sparrow 70mm. Proven, good FI exhaust - but almost as loud as the single 70mm, so I'm told.
*HKS Hi-Power. Nice aggressive sound, but think it it may be too restrictive for an FI exhaust
*Custom. RAW racing in Davie does a custom 3" exhaust with HKS mufflers...but this is very loud . Similarly priced to the HKS I believe...
I'm running stock boost with a cat and will be running a Testpipe, have the stock header. I'm stock boost for comptech SC and will be running a VAFC to handle any leaning effect from better breathing. Any comments / experience for folks that had similar priorities (no bleeding ears, dual, improved power/weight) would be appreciated. I'm beginning to believe that I can get 2 out of the 3, but not all 3...

I don't want to come across as an asshole, but more of a clarification type deal. I know there's no such thing as 'stock boost' since obviously our cars are N/A, so what do you mean by 'stock boost' ?

Take it to RAW. If you don't care about losing power, tell them to put a hi-flow cat there instead of a test pipe and then 2.75" - 3" all the way back.
They did my and OGPackin's exhaust. He also made an exhaust for my friend's SC'ed M3 and he loves it.

Standard Comptech pulley, 5.5 PSI boost at WOT. Batikan - thanks, I used RAW for my dyno and was impressed, good group of guys and know what they are doing. They use the HKS muffler and he was willing to do a dual for me, but mentioned that even with that it would be loud - as I said, not sure you can get away from that with a 2.75" or 3.0" exhaust. Appreciate the input.

this is how mine was when it was SC'ed.
Vortech + 11psi + 3" with a test pipe

Again, I suggest you get 2.75" piping, a high flow cat instead of straight header back. Keep in mind that when the car is SC'ed, the exhast will be a lot louder compared to that same exhaust being on an NA car
