Good stuff.
How do these guys compare to the stock mounts for NVH? I'm finding my 75a mounts are just a bit too rough for daily use with the new setup, particularly with transmission related vibration.
I'll take them off your hands if you upgrade

They're really bad man. Probably the worse mod I did to the car. Super cool at first, but not worth the headache in the long run.

This is interesting. So you can order different viscosities or thicknesses? Is the overall area smaller than a stock mount?

is there a chance that the inset will deform and then the mount will just be metal on metal?

So what kind of material is the center sections made out of (where the bolts go through)?

Yeah. I'll miss the way they hold the shifter rock solid, don't think I missed a shift since I installed them. But when you just want to drive and enjoy the car the vibration does wear you down.

I have nothing but good feelings towards AVID products. I purchased a 60a set for the Ep3 a couple years ago and they wow'd me right out of the box. The redesigned mounts were oversized and BEEFY, with generous amounts of poly material inside; which meant tons of holding power, and a great amount of vibration absorption. Install was a breeze and their product was way more thought out than the competition. the Vibrations were more than tolerable, almost comfortable, and it really cleaned up the slacky feeling from motor to driver. Prior to the AVIDS I was using the energy suspension motor mount inserts, and those things were nightmares from start to finish. (They pretty much vibrate until they completely wear away). That was for the EP3 though.

Assuming a 60a durometer will be available for the s2000, it looks like this design is made to overcome the sag issue that the innovatives see. Hopefully there is enough bushing to keep vibrations down while taking out all the slacky feeling from torn OEM mounts. If all this is possible, I think we may have a winner. Where do I sign up?!

Imho the 75As felt amazing after driving for a week with a busted oem mount. LJ these look fresh, definitely a necessary replacement for the shitty stockers.
