F24 500hp, what's best turbo or SC ?
Hello, have some questions, didn't dound any responses with the search engine.
what you guys recommand for this kind of setup
F24 (k1 h22/k24 rods, JE h22 pistons, accord k24 crank) 9.0:1, 8000 rpms
-> 6k price tag max
1. SOS supercharger setup with 1200 novi (RHD compatible?)
2. Stage 1 log turbo setup (fullblown, pfab...), which turbo (PTE5857?) (RHD compatible?)
which of those would yeld the best area under the curve for a street and twisty track toy?
What about reliability?
Let's the argument begin.
Thanks.

Gt35r bb would be an awesome turbo for that engine and those goals. I think you should try the PLM manifold if you are looking to stay pretty cheap. That manifold is t3, and then you can get a great deal on an awesome turbo by clicking the first link in my sig.

I've also got an F24, 88.5x97, 9.2 CR, custom tubular manifold feeding an AGP Zeta 3.2. I'm making 403whp, 309 tq on 91 and 10.7 psi. I've only been boosted for 3 months so I can't really comment on reliability, but so far as my DD it's been great. My redline was set at 7200 due to the extra stroke, so a 99mm stroke @8000 seems unfavorable in the long run.

turbos will always be better when it comes to max power and power under the curve and low end power
the only real advantage of a super charger is less heat and arguably more reliable
