Loud? Yes. If you go the E-Cut route, look into getting a tip that angles away from your tranny. Forgot the brand I went with but I didn't account for the direction of the cut out. When it arrived, I said F-it and installed it with tip that angles away. lol

I have an SP boost actuated cutout with stock exhaust, see my build thread for pics.
I really like it, since I can drive normal with a stock exhaust tone one minute, but yet get on it and have the cutout open for full power. Its loud but not as crazy as you would think, since the turbo itself acts like a muffler. Mine is definitely bareable, my girlfriend complains more of the vibration on the passenger floor when it opens than of the noise it generates.

Oh and I made 457 hp at 16 pounds on a dyno dynamics dyno with a Inline pro log kit with 5965 precision turbo.
Yes it works and it works well!

def. leaner just how much I don't know... and every car and setup is unique...I'm hoping to crack 320whp with the cutout on and a 100 shot, if I get more hooray ...my goal is 400whp on nitrous never been done far as I know, but I'll run my 100 and 150 shots for awile first...I'm thinking a 175 shot will do 400whp.

I like my motor so...I don't want to be blowing it trying to get 400whp before the summer even starts.

You've got that backward, it's going to run lean w/the WOT open, and rich when it's closed if your map isn't tuned accordingly.

I'd suggest those w/cutouts tune up to X psi on the stockish exhaust, and then anything over Xpsi switch to your cutout and have it tuned that way.

Then it will be correct.

siadam...I reread my post three times and all three times it says "def.leaner just how much I don't know"...so I said it WOULD run leaner at what point did I get that backwards?...yeah didn't think I did...put your reading glasses on...and psi...I'm not running boost here its nitrous theres no psi...it will be tuned for a 100 shot and a 150 shot with the cutout open...again put your reading glasses on
