It needs to have 28 spline axles, that one probably has 31 spline.

Gotcha, thanks. After doing some research and looking at Ebay, I might buy the parts new individually and put it together that way............we'll see, Thanks!

So I would need this, as well as the remainder of the parts to build

Joey, I would find a t-bird 8.8 rear diff. You can find them for cheap and you're only after the housing anyways. Unless you have a spare cobra diff sitting around, I would use the extra money saved towards a aftermarket LSD. The 31 spline diff will work , you just have to let us know at the time of ordering.

Driveshaft shop assured us that the 28 spline inners would hold 1000hp no problem.

What year Cobra rear end is best? 03-04 right? Or are the 01-02's the same?
