the purge sol is there to purge excessive tank pressure right?
capping that would then not allow it to purge and that seems like it would be a bad idea.
i just bought some cheap hose and routed them both under the car and down the drivers side till the charcoal container in the rear driver side. zip tied it to the fuel lines so it wouldnt get snagged or drag, and let it dump behind the car.
no noxious fumes for daddy.

The purge solenoid is located on the drivers side frame rail below the intake manifold.

so your saying i could remove my lines and cap both lines coming from the back altogether and have no issues? is that how you have run yours? if so, are you symptom free?

You can disconnect the EVAP purge connections at the intake manifold because with a AEM it never purges anyway. Under boost the Purge line will be pressurized as well, including the solenoid. It's possible that you can further pressurize the Canister with boost as the Purge solenoid is not designed to have boost pressure on the other side.
I've looped the 2 purge ports on the manifold to each other, because I didn't have have caps that would seal correctly.
Symptom free? No. if you leave the canister on the car it will still collect fuel vapor when refueling, and you still may smell it when the canister gets saturated.
