Heads up on that meth kit, I had issues with a turbo RSX using something similar. The car would go super rich after a pull, in the 9~10:1 range and make the car bog down until the a/f gradually leaned out. After some trial and error we figured out that the meth mixture would leak into the engine after the check valve was closed. The vacuum in the plenum/runners would pull the mixture in. I never figured out a way to make it work right. He wasnt using the same brand kit though.
Could it have been the check valve was to far away? Meaning whatever was left in the lines from the valve to the jets was getting pulled in?

I was going to start ordering jets/etc starting next week myself to complete mine out.

In for more information.

What exactly was wrong and what did you have to do to make the exhaust fit the downpipe?
If we left the exhaust in the path of the exhaust tunnel it wouldnt line up with the DP.. off by about 1 inch. We finally got all the v-bands really loose before the DP and then had the rear of the exhaust pointing towards the driver side then after tightening the vband.. moved it back to the exhaust tunnel path while the 2 flex pipes on the exhaust do their thing.

So early in the morning for me I hope I explained that clearly

Siadam, I have 250cc injectors and I am planning on getting Aquamist check valves and hook them up 1 inch away from each injector so I have no problems. They are really small so it should work great.

David,

The downpipe and exhaust should line up perfectly. We will have the installation manual completed this week. Sorry we could not get it to you before your installation of our kit. Please give us a call at the shop so we can go over the installation in detail. Just ask for Toan or Carlos.

250cc x 4, or 250cc total?

My 1 550cc nozzle was more than sufficient to 600whp?

Just trying to clarify.

Thanks.

1000cc of water/meth for ~600whp?

Little overkill I think? Whats your thought process on that?

I "rounded" up from 550cc to 600whp for an even number, and then divided that by 4 and reached 150 for each cylinder.

Not exactly sure... I thought of meth but at the same time, i wanted to just rebuild the motor.

Folks are having good luck with one nozzle like your self. I can't remember exactly what Joey said about his furthest cylinder when using just one.

I'm assuming that the 250cc are controllable? Just seems more efficient to get 4 smaller ones spread throughout each cylinder than one big one before the first one.

But you have experience in that as I dont

4 250cc nozzles are bigger than 1 550cc.

I am switching mine here shortly, and am going with 4 jet's instead of just one.

Each one of my pistons were progressively hotter when I pulled the motor. I am a believer if you are pushing the envelope, 1 isn't as effective imho as 4 "should" be.

I am just curious how he came to the conclusion of using the 250cc jets.

I figured as much.

But i guess the question is, can you control UP to 250cc per nozzle. In other words can you minimize it to shoot out less or will it shoot out a full 250cc squirt everytime. like fuel...
