Good luck with the flashpro and the ID 1600. I would be interested to get your feed back about idle quality and part throttle response with these injectors vs the 1000's. I know people have had issues getting the part throttle response to be anywhere near as good as the 1000's with the 2200 ID's.

I have ordered these injectors and will be getting tuned by LJ Mid May with E85.
pretty sure that Tony said on Honda Tech that the ID1000s idle great, but the ID1600s and 2200s won't be as good (as far as great idle), but they can still be way better than the competition, provided they are tuned correctly. I'm not saying that your car will die or anything, just don't expect the bigger ones to be just as good as the 1000s.

Well in my experience currently on my basemap and ID1600. Idle is steady on 1000rpm and at part throttle it doesnt hiccup at all.
Only issue is when I am coming to a stop clutching in and the revs would fall below 700rpm and nearly die everytime but it comes back up.
It might just be that the injector restart rpm in the tune is a bit too low.
I will update this issue after Evans gets a go at it.
I'm sure he'll be able to get it taken care of.

Long day today! with disappointing results.....

First just 15 mins away from Evans 2 of my aquamist check valves decide to crap out... meth started to get into the engine at idle and cruising. Substituted a Tee and a AEM check valve Jeff had

Second I was blowing out spark at 530whp @ 16psi, swapped in range 9 spark plugs and even then had to gap it down plus reduce meth injection.. seems 700cc was too much... ended with around 500cc.

Now the biggest problem... FUEL! Damn you returnless system!!
First couple of pulls it was great but after more and more the a/f would go leaner and leaner.. first Jeff started to add more and more fuel but then we would still run out...

Let it cool down... some pulls again.. it was super rich...Jeff takes away fuel and its great! but as more pulls go on same result....
This was all 16+psi, we ended the day with a tune at 480whp @ 12-13psi and its good so far.

Ideas.... we think the regulator cant keep up the pressure in high boost.. or/and the fuel pump is overheating because of the returnless system.
Now I have to get a return system..... damn me for wanting to stay away from that in the first place

Ah its never ending...

Props to Jeff Evans for being so patient with me and trying everything he could

Hey thanks for the info! As were always thinking about other "upgrades" too...I've decided not to till I upgrade to a return system.

Thanks, Brian

480whp at only 12-13psi?! Gotta love e85. Great turbo setup too of course making it all work.
