Default EMANAGE USERS

WHEN THE CAR IS IDLING AND UNDER LOW THROTTLE THE ACTIVE LIGHT IS GREEN, WHEN EVER I STEP ON THE GAS IT BLINKS GREEN/RED. IS THAT NORMAL?? WHEN YOU JUST TURN THE KEY ON IT DOESN'T THROW ANY CODES

TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK!

Sounds like it's blinking an error code. Look in your manual to see what it means.

From what I recall, the red light flashes whenever the e-manage is operating on a Map.

i just said its not blinking an error code


slows2k, i'm using a greddy pressure sensor, could that be why??

Could be your set up? Contact www.mohdparts.com the guy is an E-manage expert. He helped me out a lot with software problems.

I don't believe the pressure sensor has anything to do with it. Chances are you have some data in the boost cut settings which is enough to get the red activity LED. (Every e-manage map I've seen uses the boost cut function, it's there to hide boost from the stock PCM)

since i'm running the greddy pressure sensor, does the map still need to be clamped since its not ready off of it??

You have to clamp the stock MAP sensor, the PCM still see's the MAP input , the E-manage uses the pressure sensor.
