I hope to push my car with the emanage as well, I think its the tuner over is it capable or not. Just like you can get a AEM and a crappy tune.

I run 16psi on my greddy emanage ultimate. It can be done, it takes a lot of tuning though. My tuner encourage i use a emanage just because he believes its very capable.
Here is the link to my thread.

It drives as good as stock, occasionally the start up is weird, but most the time it is with the air pump still in.
I saw in your thread it took roughly 14 hours to tune the car. Was this the first turbo charged S2000 your tuner had tuned on Emanage. I was just curious on what was the hardest part of the tune.

BTW great numbers

Don't quote me on this but lines of resolution I believe was brought up like 5 years ago when I first was looking into going turbo. I know the Ultimate and the Blue have grown since then but that will contribute to a lot on the way a vehicle will drive. It is like using a 5 bar vs 3 bar on an AEM. Plus there is also boost mapping that the AEM has that I believe the piggyback does not. Other than that I will just talk out my rear. I personally like what the AEM has to offer but that doesn't say the Greddy can't offer less but get you by. I just don't have the experience with the Greddy unit.

Thanks jason,

The reason is took 14 hours was because the first 8 hours the wastegate was fluctuating on the dyno, but we couldn't hear it because it was tuned open downpipe (My exhaust wouldnt fit on the dyno...too low). We only heard the problem when we went for a street run to see how the car drove. The problem was a setting on my boost controller was off , this took 2 hours to figure out itsself. The last 4 hours of the tune were to just make sure the afr were ok and the partial throttle and normal driving conditions was ok. It reality no more than 6-8 hours. My tuner had to start from scratch on the map, but now has something to work off of. He has tuned manny turbo cars on the emanage their shop car is a 500+whp scion running on an emanage. If all problems are taken care of the tune should be no more than 8 hours.

Great, Thanks for the response.

Nah it was an Apexi avc-r. I dont use it anymore i use a manual works perfect. The apexi is great for internal gated turbos, its too complicated for external gated turbos.
