Or maybe because the greddy kit f-in blows lol

Someone should post up the video on youtube
While i was at Greddy, we noticed turbos with coked oil were coincidentally all using Royal Purple oil. So we sent a turbo to RP to test and they confirmed it themselves, that their oil broke down in Greddy turbos. People have sent in their turbos w/ blown seals after as low as 200 mi from using crappy oil.

The kit has got it's niche market. It didn't do well lapping or high rpm power/tq but it got 1st place for BOTH 2.5-5k rpm HP and 2.5-5k TQ. Also got 1st for boost (ran the lowest). AND is the only carb legal TK to date....eh but we've heard this all before.

What it all comes down to, and what i've always known, is that it's not a great kit for the track, but EXCELLENT for daily driving as seen by the 2.5-5k RPM tests, which is where most of us spend our time in on the streets.

The article was only "ok". but the rest of the magazine with all the new car dyno testing was really good. I like it.

I wish they would overlay all the dynos into one so you can see better how the kits compare.

Here's the math on the Vortech vs Kraftwerks specs:
From the article in front of me.
Kraftwerks Peak hp@ wheels 349 Rank 3rd points 7
Vortech peak hp@ wheels 348.5 Rank 2nd points 8

Am I missing something here?
I was always taught that 349 is higher than 348.5 ( albeit not by much) none the less still a LARGER NUMBER hello...

Then on the DVD it shows the KW car dyno'ing 349.98 and the Vortech car dyno'ing 348.48
Interesting how they round out #'s
Why no 1/4 mile or 0-60 times? Pretty crappy evaluation IMO.

I think that everyone is missing the purpose of the article. Obviously there are a million ways to put down more than 350whp. And there are more than just the companies reprsented to do so with. but the article wasnt about making a 9sec car or a Time Attack champ. It was about your average Joe Schmoe who wanted a little more out of his car. Thank you to all the companies who were involved and Chris thank you for not being high and mighty about your system is the best blah blah blah.

I truly enjoyed the read and the comparrison on all the systems. I myself run the VTSC and am absolutely bored with it. I will be going with an InlinePro kit as soon as i get back from deployment.

But that is not to say that i didnt have a blast with the SC. I just want 450whp. Ha.
