Does the F20c actually have a crank case vent?

Default Does the F20c actually have a crank case vent?

I've been thinking about something and was wondering if the F20c actually has a crank case vent on the block or does it only vent crank case pressures through the valve cover ports?

I didn't notice anything when I took my motor apart. Normally it would have an oem looking catch can, I've not seen it personally.

Wadzii - where do you think a good place to add one would be? Any auxillary plugs/ports that can be tapped? I haven't done a in depth analysis on the block to know but I am interested

wouldnt be a bad idea i guess although the pressure is released the same way when you vent the valve cover and you dont have to worry about excess oil being lost through the venting.

2 -10 on the front of the valve cover is a great way to vent it since the timing chain is behind is and there isnt an abundance of oil being thrown around at that location

Really all you would need is a -12 line coming from the valve cover to a vented reservoir. This acually came from my tuner friend that uses the same setup on his 1100 hp k series hatch.

Thanks for the replies guys. I didnt think there was an actual crank vent on the block but wasnt sure since I hadnt ever had the engine out to look at it. It would be nice to have one if it would be beneficial but the valve cover vents may do a good enough job.
