accumulator location?
A few answers:

1. Thanks Slinky Dog, the accumulator is still located on the front cross beam - just behind the Radiator.
2. Courage007: the air going into the front grill must flow through either the radiator or the intercooler. The hood vents pull air from the intercooler as this is a very low pressure area vs. the high pressure area in front of the intercooler/radiator. Hope that helps answer your question. So far, intake temperatures are extremely low.
3. psileepr: the reservoir is bomber. It's way over built and would likely survive a pretty good frontal collision. That being said, I'll likely put some protective mesh just inside the grill primarily to protect the rad and intercooler fins from damage - I get a lot of OPR (other people's rubber) on the track and the radiator cooling fins are not very robust.
4. Slows2k: air filter is currently behind the drivers side engine mount. I have also experimented with routing the SC inlet under the transmission and back into the engine bay on the passenger side. Not sure what the final solution will be but the tubing is very short in its current location and intake temps look pretty good. If I leave it here, I'll likely make some protective "splash shields" to keep it clean and protected. These could be integrated into the X-Brace. Hydrolock would still be a concern.

only reason to lose AC for a blower is if your running a BIG ASS BLOWER. why reinvent the wheel for less benefit?

KW kit in its location runs hard, makes good power, and keeps AC. noone has ever complained about it super heating the air or the fmic it comes with being inefficient. honestly, that blower is so effing efficient the fmic never even warms up.

bottom line swap that baby c30 for a c38 and watch this thread change completely
