Custom G25-660 setup

Deposit placed for the new vehicle. It probably won't show up until the end of the year. As I little hint, it's likely the last year to get one with a gas engine. Which is why I had to make the move and sell the s2k.
New owner is already putting a new exhaust on it which I think will free up around 30hp. Still a very quiet exhaust, but larger rear section piping and straight thru mufflers. I would have done it myself if I didn't have my personal requirement for the stock mufflers to stay visually stealth. The car really was quiet as stock. I took out the mid pipe resonator, but added the turbo acting as a muffler. I got all the 'noise' and feels from the Hasport engine mounts.

Hmm.. interesting.. I'm sure someone can guess what car it'll be. I'm not upto speed on a lot of cars.
Your car must've been stock sounding or maybe even quieter with the OEM rear section and a cat. My turbo S isn't obnoxiously loud because of the turbo and the internal wastegate but it does have a bit of a drone at higher speeds on the highway. For a fun occasional car not bad, but for a long road trip these days I like things quiet too. The taller FD helped the drone by lowering the rpms a bit on the highway.

Oh wow.. I'm not sure why I thought the Caymans were all turbo now. I didn't know they still offered the GTS NA w/ a manual. That's an amazing car. No back seats in the caymans is a big drawback to me as I can't cram some kids back there.. :/ A friend has a 2016 GTS and it's a sweet ride. Man I totally understand why Khiem would make the switch. Honestly that's probably one of the few cars I'd ditch the s2k for. In reality I wouldn't ditch the s2k though but just add the GTS. Man that's a big drawback to me though with no backseats. Hard to justify 2 2 seater cars with 3 kids. lol What a beauty.

Seems I got super lucky and beat the deadline by 3 days to get my order in. I had no clue they were going to ax the car so soon. Good thing I moved quickly.

That's a bit out of my budget.... so I think you guys can figure out what I ordered. Though I am a bit scared I may not get it. While my order is in, the dealer didn't have an allocation for it at the time. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. I think the dealership has to get an allocation before Porsche stops making 2023 model year cars.

It is a bit tricky if you don’t have an allocation. Depending on your dealership, there could be games happening.
Whichever 718 you have incoming, I think you will love it. The key is, try not to let journalists, reviewers, and others’ opinions influence you too much.
718 wise, I have had a Cayman S, GT4, and now a Cayman T. Many have a tough time understanding, I actually am enjoying the 718 Cayman T more than the S and GT4.
If you have a turbo one incoming, you would probably appreciate the advanced boost control programming. Happy to chat and/or help too.
