Ended up buying the pump straight from CT-Engineering (formelly known as Comptech) for ~$280.00
this included the updated pump from CT-Engineering (Johnson pump instead of the discontinued Jabso pump) wich flows twice as much volume and its rated for 5000 hours of continued operation isntead of the 2000 of the Jabsco. CT-Engineering took care of the retrofiting the pump with a custom bracket since the new pump is bigger than the old one.
install was plug and play thanks to the bracked that comptech provided, heck they even threw a brand new relay for it, and all this was done in ONE day!
awesome customer service from CT-Engineerng,
Thanks Nate!
