It's Bosch/Hella, it's originally used in BMW's but Ford and vortech used it for their SC aftercooler systems because it can handle up 400 degress temps, not all pumps can. There are 3 different ones that all look the same (two identical) but have different GPM.
How much does the pump usually sell for?

Where would you suggest to get the pump from?

Thanks.

Ended up buying the pump straight from CT-Engineering (formelly known as Comptech) for ~$280.00

this included the updated pump from CT-Engineering (Johnson pump instead of the discontinued Jabso pump) wich flows twice as much volume and its rated for 5000 hours of continued operation isntead of the 2000 of the Jabsco. CT-Engineering took care of the retrofiting the pump with a custom bracket since the new pump is bigger than the old one.

install was plug and play thanks to the bracked that comptech provided, heck they even threw a brand new relay for it, and all this was done in ONE day!

awesome customer service from CT-Engineerng,

Thanks Nate!

I've seen them on the net for about $120, at ford for about $200 and BMW for $37,956 (plus tax of course).

just a few miles away (~30 min) from them

the Jabsco does run 3 gpm, while the Johnson does 5.9 gpm

also the estimated life of operation on hte Johnson is twice as longer than the Jabsco.

Do they make this pump for the vortech?

What pump do we have?

My aftercooler is ice cold no matter how hard I drive it.

Contact CT-Engineering, preferably ask for nate, right away he knew exactly what i was talking about right, and was very knowledgable and helpful.
