i cracked both the tubular and cast manifold

so i went with a ebay one...so far no cracks and i made more power on the dyno...not to mention lifetime warranty...im hoping there wont be any cracks though....

yes i know someone that did this on his greddy kit, however the cracks might continue to the side where the welder doesn't reach. it would be best to have the weld work done w/ the manifold off of the car.
going from the SUS to the cast, no retune? it looks different tho

yea you'd probably want to retune going from SUS greddy to cast greddy. But the tune won't be off that much if you don't retune right away.

I am just wondering if the crack is only a hairline, what kind of significant impact to your car, besides the whistle sound from the engine....
I know the crack may grow to be larger, but at the meantime... what is the impact?

I heard it may cause the headgasket to blow out due to excessive heat ... is it true?

i have a also have a leak somewhere around my cast iron manifold. i don't know if it the gasket, but i can sure the leak coming frm somewhere under the manifold. i sea foamed my car and there was smoke coming from the under the manifold area.
