what management are you using? do you happen to have a numeric reading for water temp available?
when i did my motor swap i didnt bleed the system. the car ran hot and fluxuated between 205 and like 225 F. i would get engine lights for a few seconds and then they'd go away. i also had no heat. i bled everything and now all is well.
i would love to know your actual numbers if they are available to us. if you need help bleeding the system properly i am not far from you.

Dude, if your coolant is boiling, your car is running too hot. I think you can get to 220+ without that stuff boiling. I am running the same Prestone 50/50 mix.
And do NOT run the car with the radiator cap off... If you do, make sure you have a funnel on the top of the neck, filled a little bit with coolant. If you do not have the funnel on there, it will puke coolant all over the radiator/engine bay.
I would also rent a radiator pressure tester. That will definitively tell you whether there is ANY leak in your system. Make sure you do it with a warm motor (will have to refill the radiator after the test, as it will spit a little bit at you when you pop the radiator cap (fluid expands, creating pressure in the system).

im using aem ems, i wish i was logging my temps, but like i said b4 on the drive home if i came to a light my temos would go above 220 and when i would start moving then would drop to a safe level, i def need some upgraded fans too at this point, and that aluminum over flow is very nice, i wanna pick that piece up. im gonna be away for the weekend and wont get a chance to check the car out, thanks for all the help guys, i might be replacing the hg soon(i hope i didnt warp anything), im gonna bleed the system and do a few logs idling the car and see how the temps are.

I think this thread shows that EVERYONE should have a real time water temperature gauge. Your water temps should never have to go above 210F, let alone 220. This might have been avoided...
