Default Comptech sc with sos upgrade novi 1200

Hi mates!
I have recently upgraded my comptech kit with sos mounting plate to attach the novi 1200 with 3'' pulley.
On their website suggest to use 4060370 (940mm) belt but it seems that it is too big to tighten. Actually the tensioner bracket reaches the supercharger unit.

I used a 923mm belt which is a tight fit but I have slipping issues on high rpms. Is there anyone with the same setup to suggest which belt to use?

Previously, I used to have 940mm belt on my novi 1000 with 3'' pulley and 9200 redline with no issues.

Just for referance, sos kits use different belts from comptech kits with sos upgraded plate.

Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue. all I did was take the tensioner pulley off and to auto parts store. Just compared to find a larger one (can't remember what size or car it was for), and replaced with said larger tensioner (idle) pulley to take the slack out. quick/easy/cheap fix. FYI I have the 1200 upgrade on original comptech with 3" also

Great thanks! This is what was thinking to do along with a second idler pulley. Do you remember what belt size you use and what psi you hit?
I am currently at 16.5 psi and then starts slipping..

Are you on E85 with that setup? Any dyno numbers or comparison to the 1000 with the 3" pulley?

I live in Greece so we use 100ron gas mostly.
Novi 1000 made 427hp with a fmic setup and 13psi.
Unfortunately not dynoed yet the novi 1200. But surely it feels faster..

What psi should I see with the 3'' pulley?

Absolutely worth it, not just for a host of performance reasons, but for added margin of safety.
