Very inspiring thread. When I go SC nexxt summer, I think I know which company to go with.

There's nothing wrong with the vortech kit. Its a good quality item, I just didn't like the idea of putting a hole in my oil pan.

i also plan on boosting with comptech when i get closer to my expiration of my warranty. i would not mind gettin a catback system for my car at the time or should i wait to boost and get a larger diameter... would it make that big of a difference?

Some people claim it does, most dyno's say it doesn't. The factory exhaust is very free flowing to begin with. The problem with most aftermarket exhausts is you might get 3whp in one part of the rpm band, and loose 5whp somewhere else. It makes hp claims misleading at best, and for the huge sums of money they charge for these systems I'd say they are a complete waste.

IMO aftermarket exhausts do absolutely nothing on this car unless you're running 400whp... except make loud ricer noises. But that's only my opinion
