Comptech Reinforce Diff
Hello, I tried searching, but does anyone know how much power a Comptech reinforce differential can handle?
I currently have one on my car, and it's been supercharged since, but now swapping to a turbo setup.
Just wondering if anyone has ever blown their Comptech diff.

I have a Comptech reinfored differential. I sent it to Puddymod and it turns out the caps were done poorly. He reworked it and I have had no problems with it. It had excessive clearance on one side and was not doing anything to strengthen the assembly. It has been working well since I installed it.
Currently running 3.90 gears and over 500rwhp.

I also have a comptech diff in my car. I'm at 442whp for over 10,000miles and it's been fine so far. I'll be droping in my built 2.4 stroker soon so I hope the diff does not blow.

I think it's all in how you drive hard shifting and launching will kill your diff, I think it's the gears they are to just too small this is why people go to the 8.8 has bigger gears. After my car was tuned the ap1 diff didn't last long at all but I was driving it hard, now I don't shift to hard or launch. Puddymod build me a ap2 diff with 3.9 gears and ap1 driveshaft flange and I love it, still want a 8.8 and I have the cobra diff just can't see paying so much for the full blown kit unless I keep having problems. If your car is going to be down for the turbo install you should send the diff out and have it checked if your worried about it, it's cheaper to fix it before it breaks.
