Default Compression test done on my Alaniz Motor

Since my Motor is up and running now I decided to get a compression test done when I switched out my plugs and regapped them.

Now I know that a N/A healthy F20 has a CR (11.0:1) and yeilds compression test numbers of around 220-240,
My CR was suppose to be around 9.8:1 according to the conversation with Joe Alaniz prior to the build - My Compression test yeilded numbers between 166-171 through the four cylinders and the mechanic says he was happy with those numbers.
Logic tells me that with a lowered compression engine you will see lower compression test numbers but can you calculate the actual Compression Ratio of your motor assuming it is healthy? In other words, I would like to know if these numbers are consistent with other lower compression motors?

Thanks in advance
Nick

You are chasing your tail. The only thing that counts is the variation between cylinders.

Agreed, I have a decent consistency in all four cylinders I am just wondering if the actual Compression Ratio can be calculated?
Thanks for posting
I am also trying to see what numbers other lowered compression motor owners are seeing on compression tests!

May I ask a noob question? What did you do with the engine? Did you go the full nine yard with his Titanium Springs, Valves, Retainers, Arias Pistons, etc?

I purchased his "High Boost Package" as seen on his web-site Alaniztechnologies.com
