Default Cold start issue

Background: Comptech s/c S 7 psi, Emanage.

2 days ago it was raining, I started my car and let it idle about 2 minutes and started backing up. Half way down the driveway, it stalled. I was not on the gas since the driveway is on an incline. I tried 5 times to start it and each time it would barely turn over and sputter than shut off again. On the 6th time I gave it a bit of gas and it seemed to stabilize and stay on. Went where I had to go no problems and came back no problems. Started fine each time after. I chalked it up to maybe the humidity.

Today while leaving work, 70 degrees sunny all day. I started the car. Idled for about a minute. All of the sudden, the idle started going up and down a bit up to 2000 rpm and down to near stalling and sputtering. Again I gassed it a bit and it stabalized.

Car feels fine while driving each time after the occurences. No CEL, A/F seems fine, and no stalling. Seems like it only happens on cold starts, but not everytime.

My only known issues right now is that I might have an exhaust leak. After driving for a while and coming to a stop. I can hear an almost chirping sound coming from under the car. Not loud, but sounds like water boiling in a pot with the lid on.

My intial thoughts are map sensor or Idle control valve issues.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

I would take a good luck at the MAP sensor and yank the connector and put it back on to "freshen up" the connections. Consider getting it zip tied. Also, your ESM connections my have degraded over time. Are they soldered or crimped?

No ESM, Emanage, and yes that harness is soldered. Ill try the map sensor first.

The popping sound at idle is in all likelhood the KrankVent. This is normal and not a problem.

All right checked the map sensor and zipped tied to be safe, I never had a map sensor issue before.

Still doing it.

I spoke to my mechanic over the phone and he mentioned it sounds like a fuel issue. Since I mentioned it happens a minute after running it might be a air pump issue when it shuts off. Or when the ecu switches from cold start to O2 sensor mode its keeping the car to rich.

Could it be my emanage even though all settings are set to zero under 5k? Could it be a plug issue since its been about 3k since the copper plugs have been changed? Does the Comptech FPR add more fuel across the band when tweaked or only in boost which is what I thought?
