Default Clutch Upgrade for SC'ed S

Hi, I am about to SC my car with a vortech kit.

and before I go ahead, I need to get my clutch sorted out as its slipping very bad now.

I only plan to run standard boost with the Vortech kit, and was wandering which disk / pp to go for that would hold nicely and also be daily driveable!

After searching I thought,

OEM Clutch Disk + ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate

might do the trick? or is the OEM clutch disk not enough to stand the extra torque from SC'd engine?

I need some advice..

Thanks

not sure if he's selling them anymore, but Hard top guy had a ACT clutch package a while back.

I went with the ACT HD pressure plate and organic disc. A little noisy, but definitely a good buy. I've also heard good things about the setup you're asking about, though.

What's a good combo that will keep the noise down?

I really don't trust the OEM DISK and ACT Plate, I had it in my S and don't worked for me

Get a Beefier Disc like a 4 puck or 6 puck disc and the ACT Extreme Plate!

Its holds gobs of Power!

wouldn't the 6 puck disc make it not so driveable everyday???

Also I guess the 6puck disc will also be a very noisy clutch..

nah, not really. I had a 2600 lb PP and 6 puck clutch in my DA. But on m AWD eclipse I went with a 2600 lb PP and a street disk to allow for some slip. Neither of the two slipped.

I installed a cluthmasters clutch on a S2000 and it seem very nice. it was about 900 lbs over stock PP.

I need some opinions on clutches, I need one soon.

do not get the CC stge 4, with 6 puck, if you don't want lots of decel buzz and less that OEM clutch uptake.

My friends who are making more torque than me are running the ACT PP with OEM organic clutch and are not slipping at all.
