Clutch / flywheel setup for up to 450whp
So before I start installing my turbo setup i want to take car of my tranny. Diff has 4.77s and a Comptech reinforced housing so that should work alright
I'm planning on putting down around 400whp but always want that piece of mind/upgradability the tranny can handle more. Car isn't a daily so comfort isn't an issue.
What are your recommendations?
What do you guys run with how much power?
Thanks for the input

i have the CC stage 4, its an OK clutch, it holds power perfectly (i make 454whp) and really grabs hard, but i dont like the "light switch" engagement of this clutch, id much rather have a twin disc, but for the price, its a really good clutch.....

I'm doing the same thing give or take but with a S/C setup. Going for 400hp to 450hp. I spoke the Chris at SOS and I am going with the sport peformance clutch. Great build and near perfect stock feel and I was sold on it. Also even though it's rated for 240lbs of torque Chris said it can take more than up to a certain point and would be able to support my power goals.
Not sure if it could support your torque specs since you are turbo but I would give him a call.
On a side note if you got the cash you could always grab there twin carbon clutch and never have to worry about your clutch again.
