Car doesn't restart after shut down W/ AEM EMS
For some reason we started the car just fine when it was sitting for a min. Then after we shut it off, and try to start it again, it won't restart. also my tuners laptop can't seem to hook up to the aem ems after i blew one power fuse to the battery thats located to the trunk. we checked every single fuse possible and everything is fine. just dont know why it can restart and why the aem ems cant connect to the lap top. help? is the aem ems fried?

No, chances are pretty good this is the same issue i had. Youre having grounding issues. Do you have an upgraded pump? Can you hear it running? When mine was having issues, i could hear the pump turning on and off, while it was supposed to be priming.
Check:
Main ground on the back of the head
All grounds under the car(Block to chassis and stuff like that)
Battery is grounded well.
All clips on the AEM are plugged in.
If you feel like it(A good idea)...run some new grounds. Make some with wire, 2 ends that you can attach them with bolts...Grounds are basiclly free, and NEVER hurt anything.

Ur car had restart issues too? Well somehow the aem Ems connects to the laptop now but still have restart issues. Haven't check the grounds yet but I remember the rear battery grounded to a panel that still has paint on it. Maybe I should sand down some paint on the panel and ground it again.

You should do that, and also check and possible add a ground to the back of the head....like i said, ground are only a few bucks, and never hurt anything.
And actually, My car started, and ran. I did donuts in a parking lot, and as i went to pull out the car died completely. Had it towed, screwed with it for 2 days, finally added some grounds(Back of the head directly to the battery) and it fired right up. But i had the same symptoms, AEM wouldnt connect properly, my pump was turning on and off while i was supposed to be priming.

One trick that I learned with parity enable to work with my AIM dash is to hook up your laptop and hit connect to ECU on AEM Tuner/Pro. Once the computer is trying to communicate with the ECU, turn the key to the ON position. It should be connected now.
If this doesn't work, it might be the Serial/USB cable hardware or driver. I've had Serial to USB adapters suddenly stop working. Try another one or update the drivers to see if that helps.
