Mine has 2 usb ports. I have a usb to serial adapter IT WON"T WORK. It never has. OFFLINE, not communicating, and please don't tell me to change ports or any of that. It just doesn't work. Same thing at the tuners with his computer. We had to use an older laptop with a serial port on it for it to work.

You can actually use a USB connector however you have to custom make it. There is an article on the net on how to make it, its very easy. I'll try to find it.

Trust me I would LOVE to find out how to get my emanage to communicate with my computer. I bought a support tool from a guy on here that was a burnt copy for 75 bucks, it was useless. Then I went to NOPI and bought the real version for 110 dollars and I still can't use it on my computer to communicate. I would very much appreciate any help getting my comp. to communicate with the emanage.

Connect the plug, key on, once you open the program, go to option and jump between port 1-4 until it connects.
