thats compressor surge. if you want it to sound like that dont run a BOV.

yea sounds like the compressor wheel surging. Most huge turbos will surge a little bit even with a bov.

what you are hearing is compressor surge. I didnt hear any BOV. Im sure there is one but as andy said with a real big turbo like that you often get surge.

hmm I've heard compressor surge before but its so loud on that car i figured it was a bov...i remember compressor surge sounding like a skipping kinda noise or rattle snake type deal. (hard to explain) I know when he lets off the throttle you hear the compressor surge but i swear theres a pshhh noise in there too....
