Can I run id1000s on my stock ecu?
I have a comptech supercharged ap1. I got the 1000cc injectors for a stand alone I'll be picking up but was wondering if I can put them in now with my stock ecu? No real advantage to it, just another thing to get done now I suppose. I've heard I can put them in and they'll Be fine but a local shop told me this yesterday,"the car may not run well as the ecu still thinks its running on on 4x 310cc's (I think) not 4x1000's. without having the injectors scaled in the ecu you could be dumping a LOT of extra fuel in the cylinders"
Has anyone run id1000s on the stock ecu? Any problems? Thanks

Doubt it, if you have an adjustable FPR you could lower it down but i wouldnt recommend it.
I'd be surprised if it started and actually idled for more than a couple of seconds.
