CA SMOG with Vortech Supercharger
I'm going in for my first SMOG check with the VOrtech SC. It is a completely stock install except I have NGK 7173 Plugs.
Should I change these back to stock Plugs or leave these in during the SMOG check??
Also an FYI for those looking to smog. The first shop I took the car to would not test it because it wouldn't pass the visual. The EO# on the Blower Unit was ok but the sticker on the Aftercooler with EO#: D-213-15 is for a Ford Mustang and they will not smog it because it shouldn't be installed.
The installation instruction's parts list lists POWERCOOLER DECAL 008341 as part of the kit and is the sticker on the PowerCooler. To stop the confusion, I'm going to remove this sticker. Anybody else with experience on this? Does Vortech have an updated sticker?

You will not be able to LEGALLY smog a Vortech or any turbocharged S2000 in the State of California. Comptech is the only smog-legal FI application in California. You will have to "grease the skids" if you want to pass the visual test.

Vortech SC is supposed to be CA SMOG legal and has a EO# for it.
