Default Broke an axle :(

Well i went out to the drag strip like ive done plenty of times. I usually run my drag radials at around 15psi. The local track sucks as far as prep. I usually spin frist and second.

I dont do a burn out in the wet box. Usually just a quick burn out to clean the tires. Did the burn out just fine. Lined up, hit the two step and to my surprise the car actually hooked lol. I didnt go more than two feet.

At first i thought it was the diff as i head a clunking noise in the rear but when i jacked the car up I noticed my inner axle boot all twisted.

Anyway to prevent this? I have no wheel hop at the line i might add.

Thanks

That's just the name of the game. You can spend some big bucks and buy stronger drive shaft shop axles or just throw another stock one in.

Judging by your signature your power level is not too high so I would just thrown another stock axle in and call it a day.

Don't two step and launch hard. That's only way to prevent it. S2k drivetrain is not as strong as s2k motor!
