Bosch O2 Sensor lsm-11 with AEM EMS
Hi,
I have recently fitted a Bosch lsm-11 O2 sensor (the only 4 wire unit recommended in the AEM documentation), ok no problems there. I used the technical datasheet to create my own calibration and the log from a drive test shows encouraging results - the AFR is pretty much what I would expect under load, in boost and decelaration, so it looks as though the calibration is "fairly" accurate.
The AEM calibration table is 0-5V, the output from the sensor is 0- 890 mV, the gain has a maximum of 2 so I can only plot values from 0 - 1.7 V giving me reduced accuracy (I can plot less points).
My questions are thus:
1) How can I increase the gain to utilse the whole table, or change the V axis to plot from 0- 1V?
2) Is there an accurate calibration table available for this sensor anywhere, I have searched AEM, Bosch, here and just about the whole internet but came up with zip.
Calibrating from the graph is ok, but not accurate enough for tuning the engine outside the stoichiometric region.

i don't think that sensor is a wideband sensor...
"There are wide-band, four-wire O2 sensors that have the capability of accurately measuring AFRs. The most common one is used on the Porsche Carrera 4 and is a Bosch unit (part number 0.258.104.002). This sensor is compatible with the AEM PEMS and can be used for calibration purposes."
This is the sensor that I am using
