To boost or not to boost?

To boost or not to boost?
I have an 01 BB S2k, with roughly 136k on her.
Im getting a Turbo kit this weekend, for a pretty good deal.
My question is:
My car uses oil ( about a quart every oil 3k miles)I do drive the car HARD.
I added some lucas and it stopped, but I can still smell oil burning sometimes.( car has NO leaks anywhere)
I run Mobil drive clean 5000 10w-40, and the car has the infamous "random smoke issue" when coming to a stop or taking off but not in high rpm's.
I was debating on taking my intake off and cleaning it out thoroughly and bypassing the pcv valve with a catch can to see if it helped.
I also debated on changing the valve stem seals and changing the springs and retainers while I was at it.
There are a few Turbo S2k's local to me and they run Brad Penn 20-50 race oil, I was worried about running something that thick due to the small oil galleys in our engines.
Compression test went as follows:
#1-220
#2-230
#3-225
#4-230
So would you boost the car now ( not daily driven) or wait and send a spare block to Laskey down the road and go boost then?
Hmmmmmmm.

I'd boost it. My compression was around the same and I boosted at 132k. Granted my motor didn't last long after that (because of a shitty tune), make sure you get a really good tune.
The random smoke is a little concerning though. Usually random smoke when decelerating is something in the head. Maybe valve seals or something. Have a leak down done. If the numbers are good, eff it and boost it! Lol.
