I know this sounds stupid but let me get this strait...The flow is suppose to go from the manafold to the engine right? So if I'm blowing in the vent it should be going in the direction of the crankcase.

Ok..

If I'm blowing in one end of the vent that goes between the manifold and the crankcase the air that comes out of the vent or air flow direction should be going towards the crankcase and not flowing towards the manifold right?

If you blow on the Krank Vent that goes between the manifold and the PCV valve from the manifold side, the flow should be blocked. If you suck on the same valve, it should flow. If you blow on the crank vent valve that goes between the air cleaner side and the front of the valve cover from the air cleaner side, you should have no flow.

Hmmm ok i think I put them in the wrong way then. It told me to make sure the flow goes toward the engine from the manifold when the vent is in place. Is that wrong? I just don't want to blow up my engine....

Just try and visualize it. When the engine is idling, the throttle body is closed, so there is a partial vacuum in the intake manifold. You want this vacuum to exist in the crank case also. This is accomplished by the valve between the intake manifold and the PCV valve being in an open state and the valve between the front of the valve cover vent and the intake being closed. When you are boosting, the valve between the intake manifold and PCV valve closes and the front crank vent valve relaxes because there is no vacuum keeping it shut.

Ok I think I got it now....

So if i take off the attachments, each from the engine, I should be able to blow air through manifold line . And I should not be able to blow air through the valve cover line.

The flow should go from the valve cover to the intake manifold and not the other way.
Intake vacuum pulls gases out of the engine. We want to stop the boost in the intake from entering the engine. Got it?

O Got it... cool....

and the flow goes from the air intake to the front crank case valve...
