Arnold: You need some heat coating on your manifold and hotside bro! I strongly recommend the Swain Tech White Lightening coating. Here are some pics of what the coating looks like:




The coating is good for up to 3000 degrees, not that you'd ever want your EGTs to be that high because the parts in your engine would melt, but that is some nice reassurance. I have several parts coated on my wife's Evo and really like it. I am going to do the same with my S2000.

I've tried HPC on my Full-Race manifold twice and it failed both times. I've heard nothing but great things about the Swain Tech coatings. Their coatings are the thickest available and have the highest heat rating. My wife and I were very impressed when we got her Evo parts back from Swain with their coating.

you can then paint the parts coated with swain tech coats in regular header pant to make then what ever color you want.
