Best mid sized turbo for s2k
#21
Here's my dyno chart with PTuning's kit using the GT3076R at 14 psi.
This is the same turbo kit with the GTX-3076R at 14.5 psi.
They're very similar at this boost level until you're over 7k rpm. Unless you're planning on upping the boost considerably down the road then the GT3076R would suit your needs better.

Those plots look great. Very nice pwr! I think the 3076r is my choice.
Is there any way to keep a linear curve on the torque up to red line with these turbos?

Im too lazy, but I could pull up a lot of threads on here, as well as other forums where the Precision turbos fail
I think the best of both worlds is Sjadam's old GT3076 setup, 500HP, great midrange, quick spool and enough HP to blow most cars away while keeping tranny in one peice

I havent seen any problems with the precision turbos in a looooooog time.
no one knows how to get the oil feed correct so the seals don't go
i would stay away, theres at least 3 mase kits that there precision's went out and other threads on here that state there problems
maybe thats just with the journal bearing though?

Why are these things "going out" on you guys? What are you guys doing for oil feed lines and return lines? My personal car has a JB5557 and its been great.
