I had a problem my older 1012 box. If I drove my car for a long period of time(45min and over) and then turn it off, it wouldn't start back up for like 5-10 minutes.

Called AEM, They told me exactly what to do.

I had to solder some 4.7k ohm resisters in the box. Its been awhile but I think it was JP10 and JP11. But don't hold me to it.

I know that was the problem w/ my car. Haven't had a problem since. Not sure if you are experiencing the same problem or not. Just sharing my experience.

did you change the coolant temp values? the settings that come with EMS are wrong. When you drive the car for like 10 mins, it'll overheat and shut off the fuel pump. you'll need to wait until the engine cools down.

Do you hear any clicking right before the car shuts down?
