Back from the dyno - HUGE disappointment

That is a HUGE loss. Hopefully you can find it again.

If you still have your stock dump tube try putting that back on. If I recall correctly you never re-dyno'd with just your dump tube mod right? You modded the dump tube and switched exhausts. Correct me if I'm wrong.

There is not a chance on this earth that I could go to a 70mm or 3" single and gain 50whp.

Yeah, but this is not even close to being a fair comparison.
His boost levels weren't bouncing around and he had a restrictive dual exhaust on the car before he went to the new 3" custom.
The point is that going from a dual 70mm (2 3/4") exhaust straight off the downpipe to a 70mm single or 3" single is not going to net anybody 50whp by itself.

The primary reason I lost 50rwhp is because I am losing 2-3 psi up top. Whether this is attributed to the exhaust or the dump tube (or both) is yet to be proven. Prior to dropping boost the horsepower numbers between the two exhausts are very similiar; it isn't until the boost starts dropping that the numbers really diverge.
BTW...aren't EVOs make big power gains by simply going to larger exhaust piping? I've heard that this is one of the biggest bangs for the buck for them.

Doesn't the Amuse exhaust that he has have the same size exhaust piping as the Sparrow (70mm/63mm)?

Why not undo the dump tube mod and get your boost back to the same level before you start spending cash on a new exhaust?
Regardless of what is causing the power loss, at this point I still want to go with a larger exhaust to support my near-term power goals (450-500rwhp).

Do you remember the exhaust that Phil (Sideways) had made? He used bigger piping (similar to what I am looking at having made) and made over 50rwhp. He decided not to go with the exhaust because it was too loud.
