Default AP1 Injectors on AP2?

Long story short, I bought FIC1200s in April, I just got my 07 back from paint and other things

I opened the brand new box and noticed it said 00-05, and they dont fit in my AP2 Radium rail
I am doing a return setup, so I got a AP1 hanger, AN lines and fittings, and a parts list from radium including a AP2 rail from them

Since it's been forever and I dont think the vendor will honor a swap, would I be able to just buy a AP1 rail and just use that along with the Ap1 FIC injectors? The ends that go into the manifold look completely different from one another, and the end that goes into the rail is too large (ap1 injector too large to fit into the 'smaller hole' in the ap2 rail)

On the left is what I have AP1, and on the right is what I should have apparently

TIA

Have you reached out to FIC? I only ask because I kinda(?) did the opposite with my ID 1300s. I liked the cleaner look of the 06-09 Radium fuel rail for my Ap1, and it worked, I was just only able to use 2 mounting studs on my manifold and couldn't use the runner tabs, but it was fine. I had originally had the 00-05 injectors, but all I needed to do to make them work with my rail was buy different top hats (the 06-09 are shorter). I ended up selling them to an 06-09 guy, and all that needed to be done to make them work in his manifold too was removing the machined adaptors that ID makes for the 00-05 manifold.

TL;DR - I'd imagine MOST fuel injectors use a modular core...It would be simply too cost prohibitive to manufacture unique injectors for every application. See if these come apart and you can get the correct adapter(s) from FIC? If they work that way?

Im hoping they will replace them, it's partially my fault for not noticing, but I didnt open the package entirely when i got them months ago, this car was at the bodyshop up until a week ago.

I specially told them AP2 and my year 2008 so that part is on the vendor.

Are the injectors still sealed in the plastic baggies? If you have documentation proving what you ordered is not what you received they should make it right...

They are still sealed, and everything, besides me opening the thing and noticing the year, i didnt do anything else with them

in my email/phone to the vendor (not FIC) I stated Ap2 and the year of the car, so I at least have that documenation

I figured it would be an issue cause it was a few months ago.

I am past the days where I daily my racecar now, all my past cars sat in the garage or shops til they were done or ready lol so I didnt instantly check or use them

I hear you on the last bit my guy...I can't tell you how many parts I have sitting in shipping boxes that I never even bothered to open because my car is just so far back on the backburner at this point it's almost a joke lmfao

If you're interested, I have a nearly brand new Full Blown AP1 fuel rail anodized black that I'll let go.
